5 tips to a healthier Year

(It All Starts Here)

Living happily is hard to do without living healthy, in my opinion, and many others,: Health is Wealth. Having a healthy life is just as hard as filing your taxes. However, we are here to help you in the journey to living well and swell and full of good health. Here are some of our tips on surviving 2021 happily and healthily:

    Go On A Walk

Not all of us are elite Olympic athletes who go running 10 miles everyday, but each and everyone of us should strive to get in those 10,000 steps. Not only is this burning calories, it is burning stress and bad vibes off of your mind and body from your day. Maybe decide to take a long break after a long day of work, or maybe you take breaks after you finish that deadline that you've been needing to finish.

    Set An Alarm

Getting enough sleep is amazing. Getting too much sleep on the other hand, is not so good. When we get too much sleep we often feel unprepared, tired, and we basically do not want to get out of bed. We suggest about nine hours of sleep with eight at a minimum. Getting out of the bed is the first step of your day so it should start off it nice and easy. Get up, get some fresh air, and get a nice breakfast to start your day off perfectly.

    Hydrate!

One cannot stress enough how important water is. It keeps you at the top of your game, not coffee. Drink at least 15.5 cups for men and 11.5 cups for water depending on if you get in those 10,000 steps. Water is just as good as the mind as it is for the body. Staying calm and being hydrated is sure to keep you happy and well.

    Take The Stairs!

Try to challenge yourself and take the harder route for everything. Whether it is taking a walk to your work if your close enough or  just taking the stairs to your floor instead of the elevator. This helps with a good constant small workout throughout the day to keep you up and running.

                               And Finally...

Don't try to do it all

We are not saying not to use any of these tips but start off with one or two and increase gradually. Try not to get stressed and if you have to, skip a day or two and then refocus. These tips are meant to naturally relieve stress, not create it. Don't feel the urge to get it all done in a certain amount of time. Take it slow and go with what you can handle.
